Midwife/Nurse with Special Interests in antenatal care, anticoagulation, smoking cessation and weight management.
I trained as a nurse at Westminster Hospital qualifying in 1977. After working as a staff nurse I moved to Wrexham, Wales where I qualified as a midwife in 1979.
I have worked as a midwife in both hospital and community environments, more recently as a community midwife in Clacton. I was also a Supervisor of Midwives during this time.
I joined the practice in 2002 and have a particular interest in antenatal care, anticoagulation, smoking cessation and weight management.
I am married with 4 children and a dog. My other hobbies include walking, cooking, reading, sewing, massage and aromatherapy. I am a Christian and a local preacher in the Methodist Church.
