I trained at Addenbrooke's Hospital, Cambridge before moving to Kings College Hospital in London where I staffed on both medical and surgical wards. A stint as a night sister on a medical ward at Charing Cross Hospital was followed by a move to the Fens and getting married.I have been working as a Nurse Practitioner in General Practice since 1994.
My main areas of work involve running chronic disease management clinics in Diabetes, Asthma, Coronary Heart Disease and COPD. I also deal with Family Planning and Menopause issues, and help out with the triage system to deal with same day appointment requests for acute illness.
