Requests for Doctors to provide Private Letters

If you request a private letter from a Doctor (this does not include private referral letters to a Consultant) this will attract a fee, unless it is a letter provided under the NHS General Medical Services.

These letters will incur a fee from £ 15.00.

The letter will usually take up to 4 working days to be ready for collection, but if you need it sooner please inform the Doctor at the time of request. When you collect the letter from Reception, you will be asked for the fee at this time. We can only accept cash or a cheque for payment (no credit cards).
