Following the changes in the GP Contract in April 2004 we no longer provide a minor injuries service. For advice or help following accidents or falls you need to seek help from Colchester Walk In Centre or Accident and Emergency at Colchester General Hospital. Colchester Primary Care Trust have commissioned a minor injuries service from both these sites and no longer commission a service from Parsons Heath Medical Practice (no town practice provides this service now). The minor injuries services at the Walk In Centre and Accident and Emergency are for help and advice during the first 48 hours following the incident. For longer term help you still need to attend the practice as before.
