After completion of my Diploma of Nursing in Canterbury in 1998, I worked on a surgical ward specialising in Plastics and ENT. During those years I was lucky enough to obtain a B.Sc.(Hons) in Burns and Plastics and I set up a pre admission clinic.In 2002 I moved jobs to consolidate my plastic surgery skills to St Andrews, where I still work part time on a plastics ward.
Since my student days I have wanted to be a practice nurse and in 2005 I applied for an apprenticeship. Following its completion in 2006 I began part time work at Parsons Heath as a general nurse. I also run hypertension clinics and have an interest in wound care.
